CAMBRIDGE - Francine Elizabeth Mae Mitchell Brannock departed this life on Sunday, April 26, 2009, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center after major surgery and a stroke. She leaves to cherish her loving memory, one son, Frederick Mitchell (Survilla), Baltimore, MD; five daughters, Keisha Bartell (Mike), Phoenix, AZ, Chantanese Mitchell (St. Petersburg, FL), Darlene Mitchell, Charisse Mitchell and Makayla Mithcell (Cambridge, MD); four brothers, Edward Opher (Dorothy), Wilimington, DE, Lloyd Mitchell, Jr. (Doris), Vernon, AL, Ronald Mitchell (Cambridge, MD), Elwood Mitchell (Arrone), Stanford, NC; one sister, Clarice Davis (Alonzo), Baltimore, MD; two grandsons, Joaquin Chandler (Baltimore, MD) and James Rowe, III (St. Petersburg, FL); one granddaughter, Jasmine Bartell (Phoenix, AZ); one great-grandson, Joaquin, Jr. (Baltimore, MD); two aunts, Viola Wheatley (Lloyd), Cambridge, MD, Margaret Jackson (Henry Jackson (Henry), Cambridge, MD and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other foster children. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, May 2, at Bethel AME Church, 623 Pine St., Cambridge, MD, with a viewing Friday evening 7-9 pm at the church.
