SALISBURY - Evelyn M. Gordy died Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016, at Delmar Manor. Born in Baltimore, she was a daughter of the late Talbot and Carrie Taylor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Gordy; and a daughter, Joan Freeman. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Jennette of Delmar; a son, Jesse R. Eskridge Jr. of Georgetown; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Services will be private. Arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Home in Delmar.
