SALISBURY - Eugene Matthew Winder died Sunday, June 24, 2018, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born in Salisbury, he was the son of Blanche Perry Holmes and the late Daniel Cornish Sr.
He was employed with the Delmar Nursing Home as a kitchen staff member until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Winder; his mother, Blanche Holmes; two sons, Jaynell Winder and Eugene Winder Jr.; two stepchildren, Gary Lee Hughes Jr. and Amber Marie Hughes; an granddaughter and step-grandson; two brothers, Michael Cornish and Vernon Cornish; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held Thursday, June 28, 2017, at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury. Interment was private.
