Etta Nottingham

SALISBURY - Etta Lee Ford Nottingham, formerly of Salisbury, died Saturday, June 30, at Crossroads Retirement Community in Asheboro, N.C. Born the 14th of 16 children to Warren Pringle Ford and Etta Lee Jones Ford, she was the last surviving sibling.
She was raised in Dames Quarter and later went to work at Shoreland Freezers and the English Grill. She retired in 1982 as Deli Manager at Safeway Foods in Salisbury. She was active in her church, St. John's in Fruitland.
Her husband of 52 years, Kirby Hood Nottingham, died in 1993. She is survived by a son, James Nottingham of Salisbury; daughter, Brenda Daniel of Asheboro, N.C.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury. Burial was in Wicomico Memorial Park.
