SALISBURY - Etta M. Jacob, 93, of Salisbury, died Sunday, July 24, 2016, at her home. Born in Chincoteague, she was the daughter of the late Harold Wilmer and Susie Daisy McCleary. She worked for Acme, retiring after 22 years. Memberships include: VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 194, Moose Lodge Ladies Auxiliary, Elks Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Princess Anne, Golden Seniors of the Moose and AARP. She is survived by her children: Barry J. West and Carolyn Messick, both of Salisbury; stepchildren: Pat Geer, Susan Church, Christine Carmine, Tom Jacob and Fred Jacob; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husbands, Gordon S. West, Harold Geer and Cecil Jacob; son, Gordon S. West Jr.; and a grandson and granddaughter. A funeral service was held Thursday, July 28, 2016, at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury. Interment was in Springhill Memory Gardens near Hebron.
