CAMBRIDGE - Ethan Lee Lankford of Cambridge, went to be with our Lord on March 17, 2009. He was 9 ½ weeks old. He was born on Jan. 8, 2009, in Cambridge. In his short life on Earth he touched the lives of hundreds of people. Ethan is survived by his beloved parents, Pastor Abraham Lankford and his wife Wendy, along with their son, Christian Lankford all of Cambridge; paternal grandparents, Pat and Yvonne Lankford of Chesapeake City; maternal grandparents, Pastor David and Diana Bringman of Chestertown; paternal great-grandfather, Lee Alexander of Florida; maternal great-grandparents, Gene and Christine Slaughter of Chestertown. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be held 1 p.m. Monday at Souls Harbor Church of God, 718 Peachblossom Ave, Cambridge. Burial will be held privately at the family's cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Chesapeake Bay Baptist Church, c/o "Ethan's Project", 101 Night Heron Ct., Cambridge, MD 21613. Arrangements by Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, 130 Speer Rd. Chestertown, MD 21620. Online condolences may be made at www.fhnfuneralhome.com.
