Elizabeth Roush

CRISFIELD - Elizabeth Roush died Monday, Mar. 27, 2017, at UMSMC, Easton.
Born in Crisfield on Apr. 6, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Evelin Somers Parker.
She was a licensed practical nurse working most of her career in Oklahoma.
She enjoyed crocheting, writing poetry, and reading but most of all she loved spending time with her family and doting on her grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandmother who raised her, Katie Somers; her son, John Roush; and her aunts and uncles that were like her siblings, Ann Baumeister, Mary Ellen Collins, Jeanette Abbott, Allen "Froggy" Somers, Arthur "Buster" Somers, and Lucy Turack.
She is survived by three children, James Roush, Larry Roush and Susan Stang; grandchildren, Christopher Roush, Jeremy Roush, Jolene Roush, Amy Shaw, Desiree Roush, Parker Stang, and Emily Stang; five great-grandchildren; her special friend, Carlton Windsor; and many special cousins.
A memorial service officiated by the Rev. Stephen S. Willing was Sunday, Apr. 2, 2017, at 2 p.m., at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home where friends visited from 1:30 to 2 p.m. Urn interment followed in Crisfield Cemetery.
