EASTON - Edward Francis Rideout, 62, departed this life on Friday, Nov. 25, 2011, at the Talbot Hospice House in Easton. He was born on Dec. 23, 1948, in Cambridge, to the late Martin and Rose Rideout. He was educated at Mace's Lane High School and employed at various trucking companies. In addition to his lovely wife, he leaves to cherish his loving memory to his daughters, Anya King (Brian) and Gindine Banks; step-daughters, Ramona Matthews and Shynisha Jones; step-son, Willie Armstrong Jr.; godparents, Alfred and Dorothy Baynard; 11 grandkids; brothers, Tommy, Martin and Leon Rideout; sister, Shirley Rideout-Woolford; brothers-in-law, Alvin and Clinton Armstrong; sisters-in-law, Mary Lee and Dorothy Armstrong; godmother-in-law, Naomi Thomas and a host of nieces and nephews as well as special friends, David Cook, Richard Dolbin, Ulysses Bellamy and William Deckwith. In addition to his parents, Martin and Rose Rideout, he was preceded in death by brothers, Robert and Eugene Rideout; sister, Doris Rideout; step-son, Antonio Armstrong; and a special nephew, Artie Marine. A celebration of his life will be on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011, at Greater Mount Zion church in Bethlehem, Md., at 11 a.m. with a viewing Fri. evening 6 to 8 p.m. at Henry Funeral Home PA, 510 Washington St., Cambridge, Md.
