Edith Mae Banks

Edith Mae Banks, 81 CAMBRIDGE - Edith Mae Banks, of Cambridge, died Saturday, Aug. 23, 2008, at Dorchester General Hospital. She was 81. She has been under medical care at John's Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore for the past two years. She was the wife of the late George R. Banks who preceded her in death six years ago. Mrs. Banks was a lifelong resident of Cambridge, Maryland and attended schools in Dorchester County. She is survived by two sons, one daughter, and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Waugh Chapel United Methodist Church, 425 High St Cambridge. There will be no viewing. Interment will be 11 a.m. Monday in the Eastern Shore Veteran's Cemetery, Hurlock. Letters of condolence may be sent to www.henryfuneralhomepa.com.
