Dorothy E. Pryor

SALISBURY - Dorothy E. Pryor died Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2016, at Wicomico Nursing Home. Born in Shad Point, she was the daughter of the late William Ernest Williams, Sr. and Iva Mae Carey Williams. She was a member of Washington Methodist Church in Shad Point. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville H. Pryor, Sr.; a son, Gene L. Pryor, Sr.; a daughter, Gloria Poole; brothers, George, Fred, Morris, Crawford and William E. "Bunk" Williams; and sisters, Beatrice Tallent, Pauline Culver, Betty Jean Scott and Helen Williams. She is survived by two sons, Orville H. Pryor, Jr. and Donald Pryor; 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held Monday, Oct. 17, 2016, at Bounds Funeral Home in Salisbury. Interment followed in Shad Point Cemetery.
