Doris Ann Parker

MARDELA SPRINGS -- Doris Ann Parker, 73, of Mardela Springs, died Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015, at Harrison Senior Living in Snow Hill. Born in Hebron, she was the daughter of the late William Franklin Phippin and Sara Marie Adkins Phippin. She worked as an administrative assistant for an environmental consulting firm in Salisbury, then as a secretary for the Oncology Unit at Peninsula Regional Medical Center, and then as a secretary for Dr. David Walker, retiring in 2007. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Jackie Curtis Parker; a grandson; a great-grandson; a sister, Helen Boltz of Salisbury; and four children by previous marriages. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Phippin. No memorial services are planned at this time. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
