CRISFIELD - Dimples Miles, a long-time Crisfield, resident died at the Peninsula Regional Hospital Center in Salisbury, on Friday, June 19, 2009. The oldest member of Mt. Enon Baptist Church of Crisfield, was married to the late Robert Miles, Sr. until his death in 1985. Her son, Leroy Thomas Green, Sr. preceded her in death in 1989. Dimples or Luvetta as she was affectionately called, spent the majority of her life in Crisfield as a seafood laborer until she became a resident of the Genesis Nursing Home in Salisbury. She was well known for her ability to bake the best desserts and cook some of the most delicious meals. She routinely provided family, guests, friends and strangers with the best meals ever. She is survived by a host of relatives and friends. A viewing was held Saturday, June 27, at the Mt. Enon Baptist Church in Crisfield, with Homegoing Services immediately afterwards. Arrangements by Bennie Smith Funeral Home.
