Dennis A. Lokey

Salisbury - Dennis A. Lokey died Monday, Dec. 29, 2014, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Born in Yakima, Wash., he was the son of the late Walter Lokey of Wilmington, and Ruth Garhardt and her husband, Ralph Garhardt Sr. of Salisbury. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Brandi Lewis; sister, Sharon Breedlove; stepbrother, Gary Gerhardt and a brother, Rick Lokey. He was a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife Teresa Lokey; daughter, Nikki Palencher of Salisbury; son Dennis Lokey of Flower Mound, Texas; stepdaughter, Elizabeth Gillis; stepsons Justin Clark and Taylor Clark of Salisbury; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Mike Lokey of Princess Anne and Donnie Lokey of Salisbury; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held, Monday at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
