The new Denny’s restaurant slated for the site formerly occupied by Uno Pizzeria & Grill is headed for a late-December opening.

Located at 100 East Cedar Lane, the new diner will offer something previous area Denny’s have not -- alcohol.

“We are very excited to bring a new Denny’s to Salisbury,” said Denny’s general manager Joe Rosales, “and this one is truly special.

“This location is the first Denny’s on the Maryland Eastern Shore to have a bar,” Rosales said. “Guests can enjoy a burger and a beer or grilled salmon with a glass of wine.”

The new diner will have a significant impact on the Salisbury community by creating more than 90 jobs for local residents, but guests will recognize familiar faces – the current Denny’s management team is remaining at the new location along with over two-dozen staff members.

Soon to be located south of Salisbury University next to the Wal-Mart, Denny’s operated a previous location less than a decade ago at The Court Plaza.
