DELMAR - Dana Guy Johnson, affectionately known as "DJ", formerly of Pocomoke City, died Monday, July 2, 2018, at his Delmar home. Born in Decatur, Ga., he was the son of the late Gary Johnson and G. Dawn Williams Johnson Herbert of Salisbury. He worked in the family business, Donovan's Salvage, for ten years. He is survived by his mother, G. Dawn Williams Johnson Herbert, and her husband, Michael, of Salisbury; maternal grandparents, Harry and Audrey Williams of Pocomoke City; two sisters, April J. Sprague of Easton and Summer R. Herbert of Salisbury; three brothers, Mikel Herbert of Clayton, Del., Stephen Herbert of York, Pa., and Gary Michael Johnson of Coco Beach, Fla.; and many extended family members including aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bud and Elaine Johnson. A graveside funeral service was held Sunday, July 8, 2018, at First Baptist Church Cemetery in Pocomoke City. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
