Constance “Connie” Marie McGuire passed away on March 1st, 2026, at her home in Dover, DE.
Born on June 28th, 1960, she was the daughter of Jack and Gertrude McGuire. She lived her life in and around the Dover area, graduated from Caesar Rodney High School in 1978 and attended Delaware State University. Connie cultivated her love for performing in theatre and music while in high school and beyond. She is remembered as a spirited, friendly, sweet and kind person. She also showed her care for others in her professional life, having worked at the Delaware Department of Motor Vehicles, as a Youth Counselor, a Home Caregiver, and in other caregiving positions.
She is survived by her siblings, Jerry McGuire (Lisa), Frank, Brian, and Kevin, as well as a nephew and three nieces – Mike McGuire, Casey McGuire, Nicole Ruffin and Natividad Monk. She is also survived by Stepmother Diane Draper McGuire. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister, Shelagh McGuire.
A Celebration of Life will be held at McGlynns Pub in Dover, DE on Friday, March 27th from 4:00pm to 5:30pm.
All of Connie’s friends are welcome and encouraged to attend.
