Community Band takes its show indoors this Sunday

Posted

The Salisbury Community Band will present an inaugural Winter Concert this coming January 28th.  Needless to say, a concert this time of year at the usual City Park Bandstand where a series of concerts is presented every summer might be a little uncomfortable for the concert goers who sit on the hillside surrounding the bandstand especially when a winter snow might still be hanging around.

That might also be a concern for the musicians as well, so this particular concert is scheduled to be held at our summer inclement-weather site, Christ United Methodist Church at 211 Phillip Morris Drive in Salisbury.

The concert begins at 3, is free of charge, and the program promises to be exciting, somewhat different than our summer fare, and a real special time for the musicians and those in the audience.
