Clarence Jackson Sr.

QUANTICO - Clarence C. Jackson, Sr. died Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2017, at Anchorage Nursing Home in Salisbury. Born in Quantico, he was the son of the late Jennings and Bertha Campbell Jackson.
He retired from the former J.B. Wells Lumber Co. in the 1990s, where he was employed for over 34 years. He was a member of Mount Zion United Methodist Church in Quantico.
His survivors include his wife of 59 years, Bertina Jackson; two children, Donald Jackson of Quantico and Carinthia Jackson of Bivale; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A son, Clarence C. Jackson Jr., preceded him in death.
A funeral service was held Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017, at Jolley Memorial Chapel in Salisbury.
