Posted

The Salisbury Police Department is reminding the public to remove valuables from vehicles to prevent thefts through its Stow It, Don’t Show It campaign.

Police are advising shoppers to stay alert, park in well-lighted areas, lock vehicles and close windows, keep valuables and shopping bags in the trunk, avoid carrying large amounts of cash, pay with a check or credit card, don’t carry too many packages, keep purse and wallet close to the body and teach children to go to a store clerk or security guard if they get separated from the parent.

Police are reminding residents to report suspicious people by calling police at 410-548-3165.
