Chamber to host 'State of Schools' event Jan. 27

The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce will host the 2020 State of the Schools Luncheon, presented by First Shore Federal and Comcast, on Monday, Jan. 27, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Parkside High School in Salisbury.

This is an opportunity to hear Wicomico schools Superintendent Dr. Donna Hanlin discuss achievements, goals for improvement throughout the school district and plans for success in the future. 

“We know that a high achieving public education system is the number one driver of a prosperous local and regional economy,” said SACC CEO/President Bill Chambers.

The event is open to the public. Tickets to attend are $25 for SACC members and $35 for future members and the public. Included is a luncheon catered by the Wicomico County Schools CTE culinary students
