HURLOCK - Chadwick B. "Chuck" Pierce Jr., died Friday, Nov. 21, 2008. He was 52. Born June 27, 1956 in Washington, D.C., he is the son of Chadwick Buford Pierce Sr. of Mazatlan, Mexico and Martia Joy Robinson Pierce of Easton. Mr. Pierce was an Army veteran and was a service manager for Whalen Company in Easton. He enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, fishing, and hunting. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Leona M. Pierce, of Hurlock; a son, Chadwick B. Pierce III, of Arnold; a daughter, Mya C. Pierce, of Gambrills; a stepdaughter, Heather Loeffler and her husband Ron, of East New Market; six grandchildren, Connor Pierce, Kyle Pierce, Kathryn Pierce, Carson Pierce, Austin Loeffler, and Monica Loeffler; two sisters, Elise O'Brian, of Grasonville, and Samantha Brown, of Easton; two brothers, Rob Pierce, of Easton, and Ryder Pierce, of Millersville; a half-sister, Alice Pierce, of Mazatlan, Mexico; and several nieces and nephews. The family received friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008 at the Zeller Funeral Home in East New Market, and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008 at the funeral home. Rev. Delmer Willey will officiate. Burial will follow in Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Beulah.
