Cecil Filmore Lewis Jr.

DELMAR - Cecil Filmore Lewis, Jr., 84, of Delmar, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016, at Delmar Manor Assisted Living. Born in Onancock, he was the son of the late Cecil Filmore Lewis, Sr. and Alma Florentine VanNess Lewis. He was a member of the Park Seventh Day Adventist Church and was retired from Lewis Steel. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Louise Kellam Louis; five children, Bonnie Lewis and Fil Lewis of Dover, Mark Lewis of Salisbury, Jodie Lewis of Arizona and David Lewis of Australia; three stepchildren, Cathy Ramey of Salisbury, Robert "Robbie" Quillen of Pleasant View, Tenn., and Ryan Moore of Pittsville; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Joann Medford and Yvonne Matthews of Salisbury; and the mother of three of his children, June S. Lewis Zebley of Dover. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two wives, Norma Eldridge Lewis and Jane Jones Lewis. A memorial service was held on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016, at Park Seventh Day Adventist Church in Salisbury. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
