SALISBURY - Catherine Marie Pusey Hopper died Sunday, June 17, 2018, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.
She attended Salisbury Nursing School and worked within the health care industry for many years. She also worked for several years at the Salisbury Phone Co., serving as an operator and in positions of customer service. She was a Fruitland School Volunteer Parent, member of the Fruitland Fire Department Auxiliary, a Sunday School Teacher, Church Ladies Aid, and provided in-home Child Care support for multiple generations of children in the area.
She is survived by her three children, William Hopper of Delmar, Martin Hopper of Atlanta and Marie Hopper of Ocean City; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar L. Pusey and Ellen E. Pusey; her husband of 34 years, Lionel C. Pusey, in 1984; her sister, Virginia Shockley; and a grandson.
A funeral service was held Thursday, June 21, 2018, at Holloway Funeral Home. Interment was at Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury.
