CAMBRIDGE - Catherine Elizabeth Camper of Schenectady, N.Y., formerly of Cambridge, departed this life on Saturday, June 16, 2012, at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. She was born August 22, 1948, in Cambridge, Md. to the late Thomas Wesley Stanley Sr. and Dorothy Elizabeth Jackson of Cambridge, Md. Catherine was a member of the Cambridge High School Class of 1966. Her first job was the State Hospital in Cambridge and numerous jobs within the Seafood Industry. She was also employed at Angelica's Textiles Inc. for four years as a Machine Operator until her health failed in Schenectady, N.Y. Her hobbies were cooking, playing cards, and outdoor sports. Catherine is survived by her husband, Claude Camper of Trappe, Md.; son, Neal (Sarah) Stanley Sr.; a loving daughter, Jamie Stanley of Baltimore, Md.; two grandchildren, Teneal Wilson and Neal Stanley Jr. of Boston, Mass.; three great-grandchildren, Kevon Wilson, Destiny and Dior Wilson, all of Boston, Mass; two sisters, Nicie (Alfred) Slacum of N.C. and Janet (Charles) Stanley-Diaz of Cambridge, Md.; three brothers, Thomas Stanley Jr. and Kvein (Sonya) Stanley of Cambridge, Md. and Mark (Gloria) Stanley of Philadelphia, Pa.; aunts, Racheal Miller, Mardella Opher and Clara Brisco, all of Cambridge, Md.; Uncles (Harold (Elsie) Stanley of Church Creek, Md. and Walter (Joan) Stanley of Baltimore, Md.; special friends, Beulah Molock, Carmen Opher, Darlene Williams, Mary Anderson, Sylvia Kane, Diane Thomas, Hattie Patterson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by twin brother and sister, Danny and Doris Stanley. Services will be held on Sat., June 23, 2012, at 2 p.m. at St. John Holiness Church Cambridge with a viewing Friday evening 7 to 8 p.m. at Henry Funeral Home PA Cambridge and one hour prior to service.
