SALISBURY - Burnice Lewis, formerly of New Jersey, departed this life on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Salisbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Salisbury, MD.

Survivors include his wife, Vatice Lewis; children, Lawrence Lewis, wife Marilyn, Frieda Lewis-Tynes, husband Predell, Jeremy Lewis, wife Cindy and Gail Ross, husband Wilson; five grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday 11 a.m. at St. Luke United Methodist Church, 712 Bradley Ave. Cambridge with a viewing two hours prior. Interment will follow in the Eastern Shore Veteran's Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society. Letters of condolence may be sent to www.henryfuneralhomepa.com.
