CAMBRIDGE - Ms. Brittany Michelle Jowers, 20, of Caribbean Ave., Cambridge, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, July 31, 2010, at her grandmother's residence in Lexington, N.C. The funeral service was held Friday, Aug. 6, at 1 p.m. at Union Baptist Church in Lexington, N.C. The burial followed at Lexington City Cemetery. Brittany was born Jan. 1, 1990, in Columbia, S.C., to Michael Blair and Tammie Jowers Sullivan. She was a student at Chesapeake College in Maryland. She leaves to cherish her memory, her parents, Michael Blair of Columbia, S.C., and Tammie Sullivan of Cambridge; a sister, Brianna Blair; paternal grandmother, Rebecca Blair of Columbia S.C.; maternal grandparents, Betty Jowers, King Edward Jowers and Waymond Wilson, all of Lexington; four aunts, Jaqueline Jowers-Smith of Lexington, Regina (Rodney) Davis, Catina Blair (Marcus) Williams, and Jonnie (Saih) Rasheed, all of Columbia, S.C.; four uncles, Kevin Jowers of Fort Bliss, Texas, Ronald Jowers of Lexington, N.C., Sherman (Janice) Blair and Antonio Blair, both of Columbia, S.C.; and a host of other family and friends. Viewing was held on Thursday from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements are in the care of Roberts Funeral Service of Lexington, N.C.
