SECRETARY - Brian L. Smith, 38, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2007 at Dorchester General Hospital in Cambridge.

He was born Sept. 5, 1969 in Easton, and was a son of Lawrence H. Smith and Barbara Barth Barnett.

Mr. Smith attended school in Dorchester County. He had worked for several construction companies in the area.

He is survived by his father, Lawrence H. Smith and his wife, Dinah of Linkwood; his mother, Barbara Barnett of Florida; a brother, Lawrence H. Smith Jr. of New Orleans; a sister, Victoria Walker of Florida; stepsister, Tonya Faulkner of Cambridge; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

A graveside memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the East New Market Cemetery with the Rev. Glen A. Staehli Sr. officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Thomas Funeral Home, PA, 700 Locust St., Cambridge, MD 21613.

Arrangements are in care of the Thomas Funeral Home, PA in Cambridge.
