Green Hill Country Club will present its third annual Bluegrass On The Water, an evening for families featuring live bluegrass music, on Sunday, from 4 to 8 p.m.

The band No Spare Time will perform, along with Keagan and Mickey Justice featuring Todd Smith.

“It’s a nice fun thing,” said Buzz Carragher, one of the Green Hill partners. “People sit out by the river and enjoy it.”

Admission is $10 per person for non-club members. Bluegrass on the Water is free to club members and children under 12.

Food will be available for sale from East Town Eats food truck, Ugly Pie and Chesapeake Bay Creamery. A cash bar will be available. Watermelon will be free.

There will be pontoon boat tours as well as the skipjack Ida Mae. The event also will include a bounce house, face painting for children and corn hole.

The Salisbury Fire Department will have its fire boat and underwater rescue unit at the event and the Hebron Fire Company will have a fire truck there.

“We really wanted it to be family-driven,” said organizer Angie Smythe.

Anyone attending should bring a chair or blanket.
