CAMBRIDGE - Beulah Mae Elzey, 77, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2007 at her residence. She was born in Cambridge on June 30, 1930, and was a daughter of the late Raymond Bradford and Lenora Willey Robinson.
Mrs. Elzey attended Cambridge High School. On Aug. 5, 1947, she married Richard Elzey. She was a homemaker and member of Grace United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Richard Elzey of Cambridge; a daughter, Nancy Richardson and husband, Bobby of Cambridge; a granddaughter, Angie Carrier and husband, David of East New Market; three great-grandchildren: Heather Carrier, Brooke Carrier and David Carrier II; four sisters, Edie Bryant and husband, Ray of Cambridge, Barbie Mills of Cambridge, Doris Robbins of Cambridge and Betty Pete and husband, Roland of Cambridge; two brothers, Roy Robinson and wife, Donna of Church Creek and Wallace Robinson and wife, Betty of St. Michaels and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Elzey Smith.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with the Rev. Douglas M. Ridley officiating. A visitation will be held an hour before the service. Burial will follow at Old Trinity Churchyard.
Pallbearers will be Jack Smith, David Carrier, David Carrier II, Bobby Richardson, Dudley Bisker and Robbie Richardson. Honorary pallbearers are Wallace and Roy Robinson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Coastal Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802.
