The crowd at Saturday's league contest between the Bennett Clippers and the visiting Decatur Seahawks witnessed Bennett's football squad defeat Decatur by a count of 48-34.
The Clippers now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Kent Island for a Bayside 3A/2A contest on Friday.
Bennett will encounter a Buccaneers squad coming off a 21-3 league win over Easton. The Buccaneers record now stands at 7-1.
Coming up next, the Seahawks encounter the Parkside Rams in a Bayside 3A/2A contest, on Thursday.
Decatur will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Rams go into the contest with a 3-5 record after their 42-20 league win over Wi-Hi.

The Wicomico Indians football team was knocked off 42-20 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Parkside Rams.
The Rams (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Decatur. The Seahawks come into the Bayside 3A/2A challenge with a 1-7 record.
The Indians now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Caroline for a Bayside 3A/2A challenge on Friday.

Delmar can't quite match Laurel, 34-13
The Laurel Bulldogs football team won 34-13 in Friday's league challenge with the host Delmar Wildcats.
The Wildcats (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Indian River. The Indians come into the Henlopen-Southern challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Indian River knocked off Seaford, 49-0, in a league challenge.
The Bulldogs now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Milford for a Henlopen-Southern challenge on Friday
Laurel will meet a Buccaneers team coming off a 20-12 league loss to Woodbridge. The Buccaneers record now stands at 1-7.
