Salisbury police were searching for two suspects who remained at large after an armed robbery early this week.

Around 1:30 a.m. Monday, police said they met with a 42-year-old man who reported the robbery, in the 200 block of East Main Street.

Police said the man was walking east when he was approached by two masked suspects riding bicycles. They got off the bicycles and approached the man.

One suspect pointed a handgun at him and both ordered him to the ground while demanding his money and personal property. The victim complied, and both suspects stole an undisclosed amount of cash and personal property.

There were no injuries.

The suspects fled on bicycles and police searched the area but didn’t find them.

Police are asking business owners in that area to check surveillance cameras for possible recorded footage of the incident.

Police described the first suspect as a light-skinned black man, about 17 years old, wearing a dark puffy winter jacket and mask. He had a semi-automatic handgun and was riding a red or burgundy mountain bike with silver or gold stripe.

The second suspect is a dark-skinned black man, also about 17, wearing a baggy, dark, hooded sweatshirt and mask. He was riding a dark bicycle.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 833-SBY-CITY.
