SALISBURY, Md. - Ashley Marie Gilkerson passed away peacefully on Monday, July 5, 2021. Born on October 9, 1985 in Salisbury, she was the daughter of Frank Roberts and Lisa Yuhas (Mike).
She proudly served with the United States Army. Professionally, Ashley was a Bio Med for many years. She had a very caring, nurturing soul and loving heart. She appreciated the small things in life and lived in the moment, always stopping to smell the roses. Her family was her first love and she hugged and kissed them as often as she could.
In addition to her parents; Ashley is survived by her loving husband, Chris Gilkerson, and their three beautiful children Leo, Alex and Nicky, whom she adored. She will be greatly missed by her in-laws, Tony and Donna Gilkerson, her extended family and her wide circle of dear friends.
Ashley was preceded in death by her beloved Poppy and Grandmom.
A Celebration of Life was held on Monday, July 12, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, Rt. 50 and Division Street, Salisbury, Maryland. A one hour visitation was held at the Church starting at noon. Rev. George Patterson and Rev. Richard Evans officiated.
