Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Gordon Vernon Deitz and Sally Leatherbury Deitz. She worked in the real estate business all of her life, and was most proud of her 20 year career with Long and Foster, retiring as Eastern Shore Regional Administrator. She was an animal lover and dog owner. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, William "Bill" H. Hausner; and her son, David M. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service.
