Archie Alexander Jenkins Jr. EASTON - Archie Alexander Jenkins Jr., of Easton, passed away in the Memorial Hospital in Easton, Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008. Born Nov. 30, 1971, in Easton, he was the son of Archie Jenkins Sr. and Diane Jenkins. He received his education from the public school systems in Talbot and Queen Anne counties. He was a graduate of Easton High School. Mr. Jenkins was a member of New Life Christian Church and Ministries, formerly New Life A.M.E. Zion Church, since Feb. 8, 2004. His places of employment include Airpax Electronics of Cambridge and Easton Wholesale. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, shopping and spending time with his son, Austyn. Archie was a caring, kind, loving and gentle person. He had an infectious smile. Archie was "just cool." He is survived by his parents, Archie Alexander Jenkins Sr. (Regina) of Cambridge and Diane Jenkins of Easton; a son, Austyn Jenkins; an adopted daughter, Ahyana Jenkins, both of Easton; three brothers, Jermaine Jenkins (Susan) of Rochester, N.Y., Montre' Jenkins (Jamie) of Hebron, Jason Jenkins of Cambridge; one sister, Yolanda Jenkins of Baltimore; step-brother, Maurice Blount (Tianne) of Cambridge; step-sister, Felicia Blount of Cambridge; grandparents, Gladys Jenkins of Trappe, Eugene Peete of Georgetown, Del. and Leathie Peete of Easton; uncles, George Jenkins Jr. of Easton, Timothy Jenkins Sr. (Nancy) of Baltimore, Ronnie Jenkins of St. Mary's County and Charles Jenkins (Theodosia) of Easton; aunts, Elice Howard (James) of Little Rock, Ark., Gloria Jenkins of Cambridge, Leola Brown (James) of Trappe, Ethel Cornish, Jamie Wells, both of Cambridge, Gina Peete of Denton, and Mona Shepherd of Cambridge, who were like aunts; great-uncle, John Jenkins of Philadelphia, Pa.; great- aunts, Marjorie Roberts of Trappe, Mary Ross of Easton and Helen Wilson of Oxford; a devoted friend, Amber Terry of Easton; close friends, Dion Blackwell of Bowie and Edward Smith of Cambridge; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by the following family members, George Jenkins Sr., Mable Baker, Leah Ann Butler, Leonard Brooks, John F. Jenkins and Marie Blackwell. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Easton Church of God, 1009 N. Washington St., Easton, with a viewing two hours prior to the services. Burial in Paradise Cemetery.
