Anthony Szwec

CRISFIELD - Anthony Szwec, Jr., died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017, at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury.
Born in Philadelphia, Pa., on Nov. 4, 1948, he was the son of the late Anthony and Mary Theresa Warfield Szwec.
A graduate of Dobbins Vocational School in Philadelphia, he was the owner of Tony Szwec Plumbing for more than 40 years.
He enjoyed fishing and boating on the bay with friends and family. He loved Crisfield but most of all he loved "his girls". He was loved dearly by his family and his community.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Christine Diaz, Carol Black and Toni Joan Zalenski.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Dorothy McRae Szwec; two daughters and their husbands, Jessica and Andy Dunn, of Salisbury and Elizabeth and Chris Justice, of Westover; two grandchildren, Madison and Colton Dunn; a sister, Judy Ykoruk and husband, Alex, of Schwenksville, Pa.; his good friend and co-worker, Buddy Dryden, of Crisfield; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service officiated by Pastor Mark Warfield will be held Saturday, Mar. 4, 2017, at 2 p.m., at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 12 noon to 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Coastal Hospice, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802-1733.
