CAMBRIDGE - Anna Mae Outten, 77, of Cambridge passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at her home. She was born in Cambridge on December 28, 1930 and was a daughter of the late William W. and Susie Willey Handley.

Mrs. Outten attended schools in Cambridge. On April 25, 1946 she married Earl J. Outten. She worked for Western Publishing Company and retired in 1993. Some of her hobbies were sewing, collecting pottery and gardening. She was a member Souls Harbor Church of God in Cambridge.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years Earl Outten of Cambridge; two daughters Sue Walston and husband Wayne of Cleveland, Tenn. and Kay Koski of Cambridge; three grandchildren Valerie Cook Eenhuis of Phoenix Ariz., Stephanie Walston Robinson and Matthew B. Walston both of Cleveland, Tenn.; two great grandchildren Kyler Eenhuis of Phoenix, Ariz. and Addison Robinson of Cleveland, Tenn; a sister Mary Louise Mitchell of East New Market; three brothers William W. Handley Jr. of Oak Hill, Fla., David L. Handley and Carroll C. Handley both of Cambridge and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Allen Nelson, Johnny Barwick, Bruce Handley, Wendell Meekins, Robert Phillips and Brad Lednum.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with the Rev. J. Edward King and the Rev. Phillip Morris officiating. Burial will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Letters of condolence may be sent to www.thomasfuneralhomepa.com
