FRUITLAND - Anna Mae Cox died Sunday, Feb. 16, 2020, at Delmar Villas in Delmar. Born in Salisbury, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Miles and Pauline Webster Taylor. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Salisbury for more than 50 years. She is survived by her children, Bill Cox and Mary Anne Wallace; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her brothers, Robert Taylor, Phil Miles, Mike Miles and Rudy Taylor; sisters, Brenda Drewer and Joan Taylor; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, John H. Cox Sr.; a son, John H. Cox Jr.; her stepfather, Teddy Taylor Sr.; a stepmother, Mildred Miles; a brother, Teddy Taylor; and a foster son, Mike Hill. A funeral service was held Friday, Feb. 21, 2019, at Church of God of Prophecy in Salisbury. Interment followed in Parsons Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne.
