Anna B. Collison, 91 RHODESDALE - Anna Bramble Collison, 91, of Rhodesdale, passed away April 22, 2010 at Chesapeake Woods Center in Cambridge. Born Aug. 11, 1918, in Cokesbury, she was the daughter of the late Otis Bramble and Derotha Dunn Bramble. Mrs. Collison was a machine operator at Continental Can where she retired in 1981 after twenty seven years. She was a member of Brookview United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Women's Society. She was a past member of the Fork District Junior Homemaker's Club. She enjoyed being a homemaker and spending time with her family. She is survived by two sons, Paul Robert Collison of Rhodesdale and William David Collison of Rhodesdale; two daughters, Judy Lee Travers and her husband Walter Lee of East New Market and Betty Ann Wheedleton and her husband Burton E. of Easton; two grandsons, Kevin Travers and his wife Sherry and Alan Wheedleton and his wife Sarah; three great-grandchildren; a brother, George Bramble of Seaford; nieces and nephews In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Rhodes Collison who died in 1969; three brothers, Joseph Bramble, Gerald Bramble, and William Bramble. Funeral services were held 2 p.m., Monday, April 26, at the Zeller Funeral Home in East New Market, where the family received friends one hour prior to the service. Rev. Delmer Willey officiated. Interment followed in Brookview Cemetery. Kevin Travers, Alan Wheedleton, Walter Lee Travers, Jr. Burton E. Wheedleton, Otis Bramble and Barry Collins served as pallbearers. Donations in memory of Mrs. Collison may be made to Brookview United Methodist Church, c/o Ralph White, 6815 Lone Pine Road, Rhodesdale, MD 21659; or to Channel Marker, Inc., 420 Dorchester Avenue, Cambridge, MD 21613.
