Delicious homemade chicken salad, soups, oyster sandwiches and baked goods are on the menu for the Spring Bazaar of Allen Asbury United Methodist Church in Allen Saturday, March 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Allen Community Hall.

Asbury Church in Allen is pleased to announce the return of its popular homemade dumplings as well as the option to dine in.

The church’s renowned chicken salad and savory soups (Vegetable Beef Soup, Bean Soup, Chicken Noodle Soup) will be available by quart or pint for take-out. Oyster sandwiches, dumplings and hot dogs will also be sold.

All food sales will be inside the community hall.

Also available at the Spring Bazaar, inside the Allen Community Hall: homemade baked goods including lots of pies, Maryland beaten biscuits, sweet potato biscuits, cakes and other treats at our famous bake table.

Many other shopping opportunities will be available inside, including a wide selection of books and vendors with essential oils, soaps, chocolate Easter eggs, leather goods, lavender, acrylic paintings, jewelry and hand-knitted items.

Weather permitting, there will be vendors outside, too.

A portion of the proceeds from this event will support the church’s outreach to the Christian Shelter and Hope and Life Outreach in Salisbury.

The hall is located at 26575 Collins Wharf Road in Eden. For information, call 410-430-2984 or 410-546-2043.
