Albert Brown Waters, 69

CAMBRIDGE - Albert Brown Waters, 69, of Cambridge, died Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009, at his home. He was born July 8, 1939, in Pennsylvania, son of the late, Irene Opher and Henry Houston Waters. Mr. Waters attended the public schools of Dorchester County and was a graduate of Maces Lane High School, Class of 1958. He served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1963. Albert retired from National Can were he was employed as a Machinist. He was raised in Bethel AME Church and in 2006 became a member of Anointed One Ministries. His hobbies were playing cards, listening and collecting jazz music and photography. Mr. Waters is survived by his aunt and uncle, William and Pauline Giles; cousins, Revs. Lemuel and Lavone Chester, Sylvia, Barbara, Cassandra, Harry, Joy, Paula, Candice, Sheryl, Larry, and Ricky; and numerous friends. Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 7, at Henry Funeral Home, PA, 510 Washington St., Cambridge. Revs. Lemuel and Lavone Chester officiated. Interment was in Bethel Cemetery.
