CAMDRIDGE, Md. - Augustus Theodore Waldsachs, III passed away on August 22, 2021. Born in Baltimore on September 3, 1941, he was the son of the late Augustus Theodore Waldsachs, Jr., and Jane Hammond Boyd Waldsachs.
In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his sister, Suzan Taylor Dean and brother, David Cooper Boyd. Survived by his children, Wendy Waldsachs Isett (Clint) and Steven Tilghman Waldsachs (Sara); sisters, Jane Hammond Matthews (Terry Lewis) and Mary Hanna Clodfelter (Wood); grandsons, Andrew Zachary, James Christopher, and William Lucas; companion, Lisa Crummitt; and nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A retired Vietnam veteran, he served in the U.S. Army, U.S. Army Reserve and the Maryland National Guard. He worked for the State of Maryland for 28 years, and served as a Civil Process Server in Dorchester County in his retirement.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans (www.dav.org) or Choptank Memorial Post 7460, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Cambridge, Md.
