Wynder promoted to top job in Lake Forest School District

FELTON — Dr. Brenda G. Wynder has been selected as the next superintendent for the Lake Forest School District.

Dr. Wynder, who is currently the chief academic officer for Lake Forest, will assume the role of superintendent effective Aug. 17.

Since previous superintendent Jason Conway resigned after only eight months on the job, Christine daCosta has been acting superintendent.

The appointment was one of many recent personnel changes.

Effective Monday, Travis Moorman is the new human resources director for the district and Adewunmi Kuforiji is now the chief financial officer.

There are three new principals: Theadora White is the principal at Lake Forest High School; Clifford Owens is the principal at Lake Forest South Elementary; and James Dick is the principal at Lake Forest East Elementary.

Dr. David Carter will be the assistant principal at Lake Forest High School; Karl Stahre will be the building and grounds supervisor, effective Sept. 1.
