University of Delaware's Students for the Environment host virtual Q&A
NEWARK — Students for the Environment at the University of Delaware will present “Caretakers of the Environment: Climate Change and Indigenous Peoples in Delaware” on Wednesday.
This virtual presentation, which begins at 6 p.m., will feature a Q&A panel with Chief Dennis Coker of the Lenape Indian Tribe of Delaware and Assistant Chief
Brett Jackson of the Nanticoke Indian Tribe of Delaware.
They will be discussing their tribes’ environmental values and activism in the face of climate change.
