DOVER — Less than two weeks before 90,000 music fans arrive in Dover, organizers finally released the time schedule for Firefly Music Festival on Saturday. On top of packing and planning their trip, now festivalgoers can plot out their weekend and decide which bands they’re going to catch across the festival’s seven stages taking place June 18-21 at the Woodlands of Dover International Speedway. Headliner Paul McCartney will play a two-and-a-half hour set on the Main Stage at 10 p.m. Friday, June 19 until 12:30 a.m. Rockers Kings of Leon is set for the top spot Saturday, from 10:30 until midnight, and The Killers will play from 9:15 to 10:45 p.m. Sunday. No other acts will be performing when the headliners hit the main stage. Two Delaware bands are also scheduled. The hip-hop trio Cypher Clique, from Dover, will play Thursday from 5:30 to 6 p.m. Fiance, a Newark-based indie pop band, will play Saturday from 12:45 to 1:30 p.m. In March, festival organizers announced which bands would play on which days, but not the times. British singer-songwriter Charli XCX, originally announced to play Thursday, does not appear on the new schedule. On Friday, British singer Morrissey will play prior to Mr. McCartney on the main stage at 7:45 p.m. On Saturday, Firefly returnees Foster the People will play prior to Kings of Leon at 8:15. On Sunday, hip-hop artist Snoop Dogg will play an hour set starting at 8 p.m. on The Lawn while British rock band Bastille precedes The Killers at 6:45 p.m. For more information, visit FireflyFestival.com.
