DOVER ­— Three suspects have been charged with murder following investigation into the March 30 shooting death of a 24-year-old Dover man at the Port Mahon fishing pier, authorities said.

Delaware State Police said Daiquan T. Bordley, 22, of Dover, Zhyhee Y. Harmon, 22, of Dover, and Chelsea Braunskill, 19, of the first block of Sagittarius Way, Camden-Wyoming, were all charged with first-degree murder, first-degree robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and second-degree conspiracy.

One unidentified male suspect is still being sought, state police spokesman Master Cpl. Gary Fournier said.

State police said Ms. Braunskill allegedly knew of a plan to rob the victim, Dontray Hendricks, before coming to the pier, and she fled in Mr. Hendricks’ vehicle.

According to authorities in a probable cause affidavit, Ms. Braunskill was picked up at her dormitory at Delaware State University and driven to Port Mahon.

In court documents, Mr. Bordley’s residence was listed as in the first block of Chestnut Street in Dover.

All three defendants were held without bail by the Delaware Department of Correction after being arraigned through the Justice of the Peace Court, pending a preliminary hearing.

Police alleged that Mr. Bordley shot Mr. Hendricks in the torso after confronting him at the pier, where he died from his wound. Investigation found that Mr. Hendricks and Ms. Braunskill first went to Port Mahon to allegedly smoke marijuana.

At the pier, three men confronted Ms. Braunskill and Mr. Hendricks, who became engaged in a physical altercation with Mr. Bordley, police alleged.

After the shooting, according to police, three men left the area in Mr. Bordley’s vehicle.

Police said investigation determined that Ms. Braunskill left the scene in Mr. Hendricks’ vehicle.

Responding to an unresponsive male report at Port Mahon at approximately 12:39 p.m. on March 30, arriving troopers located a man later identified as Mr. Hendricks. Arriving Kent County Paramedics subsequently pronounced him dead.

State police Homicide Unit detectives were contacted and went to the scene to investigate, Cpl. Fournier said.

An autopsy by the Division of Forensic Sciences determined that Mr. Hendricks died due to being shot.

As investigation continued, police said they identified three of four suspects in the case.

Zhyhee Y. Harmon

An arrest warrant was obtained for Ms. Braunskill, police said. She turned herself into detectives on April 26.

Mr. Bordley was taken into custody without incident by troopers in the Chestnut Street area in Smyrna on April 29.

On Wednesday morning, Mr. Harmon was taken into custody without incident by detectives in the Capitol Green neighborhood.
