DOVER - A suspect has been named in the shooting of a Smyrna teen Wednesday, May 13, in Dover.
Damier Harmon, 18, and Bruce Manlove, 19, were arrested in Philadelphia by the Philadelphia Police Department for charges of first-degree robbery, according to Dover Police spokesman Cpl. Mark Hoffman.
Once arrested, detectives obtained further evidence leading to the Harmon being charged with first degree murder.
Both men are currently being held in Pennsylvania awaiting extradition to Delaware.
Damier Harmon, 18, of the unit block of Harmony Lane, Dover, faces the following charges upon extradition: first-degree murder, first-degree robbery, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony and possession of a deadly firearm by person prohibited, possession of ammunition by person prohibited and conspiracy.
Bruce Manlove, 19, listed as homeless in Dover, is charged with first-degree robbery, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony and conspiracy.
Gary Adams, 19, of Smyrna, was shot at about 8:54 p.m. Wednesday in the Walker Woods neighborhood. He later died from injuries from the single gunshot wound at Kent General Hospital in Dover.
This was Dover's fourth homicide this year.
