DOVER — A 22-year-old Washington, D.C., man was charged in three robberies of Dover Walgreen’s stores, authorities said Thursday.

According to Dover Police, following a March 29 robbery where Nathaniel Carr and another suspect allegedly jumped the pharmacy counter and took prescription medication, detectives were able to obtain fingerprints from the crime scene. Those fingerprints led to the identification of Mr. Carr as a suspect, spokesman Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said.

Detectives then allegedly linked Mr. Carr to two Walgreen’s robberies that took place on Feb. 27, 2018, and Dec. 24, 2017, police said. Mr. Carr was arrested in Washington D.C. on June 22 and extradited to Delaware on Wednesday.

Charges induced three counts of second-degree robbery, second-degree conspiracy, wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony and offensive touching. Mr. Carr was committed to James T. Vaughn Correctional Center near Smyrna in default of $18,600 cash bond.
