DOVER - The students, faculty and parents of St. John's Lutheran School in Dover have raised over $5,500 for the United Service Organization (USO) as part of their annual fundraising drive.
Because the school reached its goal of $5,000, principal Dr. Dina Vendetti subjected herself to another of her famous stunts. This year she was pelted with red, white and blue paint-filled sponges while wearing military fatigues in front of the entire student body all in the name of a good cause.
In the past 14 years the school has raised almost $70,000 for various charities and organizations.
