SMYRNA - It's that time of year again. The time for children of all ages to return to the baseball diamond to enjoy America's pastime - the great game of baseball - as hot dogs, horseplay and home runs were on the schedule for the day.
Smyrna-Clayton Little League celebrated their annual Opening Day ceremonies in between the raindrops Saturday as hundreds of petite players and small sluggers welcomed the return of their favorite game at Jim Vaughn Sr. Park in Smyrna.
