DOVER - A 25-year-old man was shot once and suffered a non-life threatening wound during an incident at Alder Park Apartments early Wednesday morning, police said.
According to the Delaware State Police, a trooper was on scene within a minute at approximately 1 a.m. after Kent County Emergency Operations Center began receiving calls regarding shots fired near “E” building.
Police arrived at the apartment complex on Webbs Lane, and found a man with a gunshot wound to his lower extremity.
The wounded man was transported by EMS to Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital.
No suspect information could be provided, police said.
